Fast, simple, and privacy-focused. 🎯 KEY FEATURES • Download Twitter videos in highest quality (up to 4K) • Download GIFs as MP4 files • Download images in original resolution • Batch download - save all media from a tweet at once • Smart file naming: username_tweetID_type_number.ext • No extra steps - files save directly to your Downloads folder • Clean Twitter-style interface - button appears on tweets with media • Built-in long image viewer - tall screenshots become scrollable in place • High-resolution image upgrade in the photo modal (up to 4096×4096) 📜 LONG IMAGE VIEWER (NEW) Tired of squinting at tiny thumbnails of long screenshots, articles, or chat captures? The built-in viewer: • Detects tall images automatically (height/width ratio configurable) • Expands them in the timeline as a scrollable container — no clicking needed • In the photo modal, only the image scrolls; the reply panel stays put • Wheel scrolling that works (overrides Twitter's wheel intercept) • Auto-upgrades the displayed image to highest resolution • Customizable reading width and tall-image threshold via the Options page ⚡ HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Visit Twitter/X 3. See a download button on tweets with media — click to save 4. Open any tall screenshot — it's already scrollable, no extra steps 5. Tweak the viewer's threshold and reading width from the Options page (optional) 🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY • All processing happens locally on your device • No data collection or tracking • No server uploads • Open source code available on GitHub 🎨 SEAMLESS INTEGRATION • Matches Twitter's native design • Supports light and dark themes • Works on both twitter.com and x.com • Minimal performance impact 📝 FILE NAMING Downloaded files use a smart naming system: username_tweetID_type_01.mp4 Example: elonmusk_1234567890_video_01.mp4 This makes it easy to organize and find your downloaded media. 💡 PERFECT FOR • Content creators saving reference material • Researchers archiving social media content • Anyone who wants to save Twitter videos and GIFs • Users tired of third-party download websites • Readers who hit long screenshot threads (articles, chat captures, comics) and want to actually read them on Twitter/X 🆓 COMPLETELY FREE No ads, no premium features, no subscriptions. Just pure functionality.
