The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

## Why This Setup Is Required
This extension uses your own Twitch developer credentials to make API requests directly through your Twitch application.
This approach is:
* More secure
* Does not rely on shared public keys
* Helps avoid global API rate limits
* Allows higher request limits on your own developer account
Your credentials are used locally within the extension and are not stored or transmitted to external servers.
