Tripwire

Stop refreshing. Tripwire watches any part of any web page and tells you the moment it changes, with a word-by-word view of exactly what changed. Click the Tripwire icon, then click the part of the page you care about: a class waitlist, a job board, a price, a grades portal, a changelog. Tripwire checks it in the background and sends a desktop notification like: "Waitlist 14" → "Waitlist 9" Click the notification and Tripwire opens the page, scrolls to the spot, and highlights what changed. Hover to highlight, click to choose. Use the arrow keys to grow or shrink the selection. • Word-level diffs. Every change is saved with what was added and removed, not just "something changed." • Works on modern sites. Pages that load their content with JavaScript are detected automatically and checked with a full page load. • Smart alerts. Get notified on any change, only when some text appears (like "Open" or "In stock"), or when it disappears. • Ignore noise. Filter out timestamps, view counts, and other text that changes on every visit. • Checks as often as every minute, or as rarely as once a day. • A dashboard with your full change history for every watch. • Light and dark mode. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Tripwire has no servers and no accounts, and it does no tracking. Your watches and their history are stored only in your browser.
