TranslateMom — Translate and Transcribe Videos

Preview web videos and create subtitles or translations with TranslateMom. Open a video page to find supported videos, preview them, and save them to your computer without signing in. Sign in to TranslateMom when you want subtitles or translation. The visible or playing video appears first when it can be identified, with available quality choices and controls for each video. - Play a short, muted preview before choosing a video. - Create subtitles in the original language or translate them into one of 101 target languages. - Follow capture and upload progress, then return to finished results in the popup, side panel, Queue, or History. - Automatically prepare a subtitled video when processing finishes, or turn automatic export off in Settings. - Save supported videos to your computer without an account. - Use supported X/Twitter, TikTok, or Instagram links when browser capture is unavailable. - Use the extension in 14 Chrome locales. A TranslateMom account and available credits are required for subtitle and translation processing. Some websites and protected videos are unsupported. YouTube downloading and link import are not supported by this extension. Permissions and privacy The extension requests website access and download permissions at installation. It detects media on permitted websites as you browse, including while the popup is closed. Previews are generated locally. Selected media or links are sent to TranslateMom when you request subtitles or translation. Download permissions let you save videos and open saved files through explicit controls. The side panel keeps the extension available beside your page. The extension stores your sign-in session, preferences, and recent task history locally and sends product usage events to our self-hosted analytics service.
