Translate with ChatGPT

Translate with ChatGPT makes it easy to translate any text you find while browsing. Select text on a webpage, click Translate, and the extension opens a new ChatGPT conversation with a clear translation prompt already prepared. Choose your preferred target language from the extension popup, then review and send the prompt when you are ready. Features: Translate selected text into your chosen language Choose from a wide range of supported target languages Translate from a floating button beside selected text or the right-click menu Review the prompt in ChatGPT before sending it Keep long selected passages out of the URL Save your language preference with Chrome sync Adjust the floating button’s size and opacity Your selected text is kept temporarily in Chrome session storage only to pass it to the newly opened ChatGPT tab. It is removed after retrieval and is not sent to an extension-owned server. This extension does not use the OpenAI API, does not require an API key, and does not automatically submit messages to ChatGPT. You stay in control of every translation request. Note: This extension works on regular webpages. Chrome does not allow extensions to run on certain internal or restricted pages, including the Chrome Web Store.
