TinyImage — Compress & Convert

Compress and convert images right in Chrome with TinyImage. Select files from your device, choose your settings, and download the results. Image processing happens locally inside the extension, so the core tools work offline without an account or uploads. • Compress still JPEG, PNG and WebP images while keeping their format. • Convert images to JPEG, PNG or WebP. • Adjust JPEG/WebP quality and optionally resize the longest side. • Process up to 10 images per batch with individual results and downloads. • See output sizes and savings before downloading. • Cancel processing, retry, or clear the workspace. Compression keeps the original if re-encoding at the same dimensions would create a larger file. PNG output is lossless; its quality does not change with the quality setting. JPEG uses a white background for transparent areas. Images are never enlarged. Re-encoded images lose embedded metadata; originals retained to avoid larger files keep their metadata. Savings vary by file and settings. Supported inputs are still JPEG, PNG and WebP images, up to 20 MiB each, 60 MiB per batch, 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side. Animated images, GIF, SVG, TIFF and PDF are not supported by these local tools. No special browser permissions are requested. TinyImage does not read webpages or browsing history, upload your selected images, or run analytics. Files and results stay in temporary workspace memory until you clear or close the tab. Files you download stay on your device. An optional link opens TinyImage's separate account tools on tinyimage.io. Those website tools require internet, a verified account and eligible API trial or paid allowance; their uploads and usage follow the website's privacy policy. They are not required for the extension's local tools.
