One click lines up scattered tabs so each website's tabs sit side by side. Optionally also wraps them into colored tab groups.

The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Tidy Grouper — Sort Tabs by Site
Got tabs everywhere? Three YouTube tabs here, two Twitch tabs there,
a couple of Reddit tabs scattered in between? Tidy Grouper tidies the
whole mess with one click.
HOW IT WORKS
Click the grouper fish and press "Sort tabs by site". Every tab is
moved so tabs from the same website end up side by side - all your
YouTube tabs together, all your Twitch tabs together, and so on.
No tab groups are created unless you ask for them: by default it
simply rearranges your tabs.
OPTIONS
- "Also put them into tab groups" - when ticked, sorting also wraps
each website's tabs into a real colored, named tab group (only for
sites with 2 or more tabs). Off by default.
- "Apply to all windows" - sort every open window at once instead of
just the current one.
- "Ungroup all" - one click removes all tab groups again (tab order
is kept).
- "Unpin all" - one click unpins every pinned tab (tabs stay open and
in place, they just become normal tabs again).
SMART ABOUT SUBDOMAINS
Subdomains count as their own site: music.youtube.com gets its own
cluster, separate from youtube.com. Related sites of the same family
are still placed right next to each other - just not mixed. (www. and
m. prefixes are ignored; they are the same site.)
RESPECTFUL BY DESIGN
- Pinned tabs are sorted too - but only among themselves, inside their
own pinned area. They stay pinned, never mix with normal tabs, and
are never put into groups.
- Tabs already inside a tab group are left alone - your hand-made
groups are safe.
- Websites keep the order they first appear in your tab bar, and tabs
of the same site keep their order.
- No background process: the extension only runs the moment you click
it. Zero memory or battery cost the rest of the time.
- No data collected, nothing leaves your browser.
