Thread Atlas for ChatGPT, Gemini & Claude

Find the question or answer section you need in a long AI conversation. Thread Atlas adds a right navigation panel to the existing ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude websites. Browse questions, assistant answers and Markdown headings, jump to a section, see your current position, search question and heading text, collapse answers together with their outline, and adjust the panel width. Alt+Shift+N opens or closes the panel. During generation, navigation resolves replaced headings and temporarily protects your selected location from native auto-follow. Manual scrolling or another selection releases this protection; it expires when generation settles, with a two-minute cap. Navigator-friendly responses is optional and enabled by default. Before recognized send/edit-save actions, it appends a formatting preference to your question, encouraging meaningful headings for substantial answers while respecting short answers and your requested format. This preference is visible in the submitted message and remains in the conversation. Turning it OFF affects future sends; it does not remove previously submitted preferences. Model compliance is not guaranteed. ChatGPT additionally supports official source markers for chats branched into a new conversation, plus read-only message-branch previews when a validated graph is available. Full branch trees and JSON import are not supported on Gemini or Claude. Use the native website to switch branches. Your conversations, current conversation route and navigation interactions are processed in the current tab. No developer server, analytics, advertising, tracking or persistent conversation storage. Only four preferences are saved locally: rule enabled, navigator visible, preferred width and display language. No extension account or API key. The extension is free; each AI service's account requirements, limits and fees still apply. Supported: chatgpt.com, ordinary gemini.google.com/app chats, and ordinary claude.ai/new or /chat chats. The interface supports English, Korean, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic (RTL) and Thai. It follows a supported Chrome UI language and otherwise uses English, with a manual language choice in the popup or panel Settings. This changes extension labels without translating your conversations. The outline relies on real headings and does not generate AI summaries. Without a full snapshot, only observed content is indexed; older unrendered messages may be missing. Not all sibling branches can be discovered. Voice, Gemini Gems/Live, concurrent Canvas/Artifacts panes and project-specific composers are not guaranteed. Website updates and account-specific layouts may affect compatibility.
