TexSense | Real-Time Overleaf Latex Word Count

See how close you are to your word limit at a glance. Overleaf’s default word count includes references, equations, and other sections that often don’t count toward conference or journal limits. TexSense shows your true submission-ready word count directly inside Overleaf. ✔ Counts only main text (body) ✔ Automatically excludes references, equations, captions, and titles ✔ Updates instantly as you write — no PDF export needed ✔ Works directly inside the Overleaf editor No more exporting PDFs or running manual commands just to check if you’re over the limit. Built for researchers, students, and anyone writing LaTeX papers under strict word constraints.
