TempSnap

Have you ever taken a quick screenshot just to copy it, only to find your computer cluttered with hundreds of random image files months later? TempSnap is the perfect, stress-free solution for this exact problem! TempSnap is a lightweight, easy-to-use browser extension designed to help you quickly capture diagrams, selected areas, or anything visible on your screen with a simple click or keyboard shortcut. But what makes it truly unique is its built-in automated "janitor" feature. Instead of permanently saving these temporary images and eating up your storage space, TempSnap securely holds your captured snaps in a temporary local vault—just long enough for you to paste them where you need them. Afterward, the background janitor seamlessly deletes the old screenshots based on a custom timeframe you choose (such as 10 minutes). Your privacy is completely protected because everything happens right on your device. Nothing is ever tracked, uploaded, or shared to the cloud. Whether you are a student snapping lecture slides or a developer grabbing code snippets, TempSnap keeps your clipboard ready and your hard drive completely clean!
