The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Taziky Vehicle Evaluator
Taziky Vehicle Evaluator automates the valuation workflow for CarMax Auctions buyers.
On carmaxauctions.com listing pages (search results, your saved list, and detailed views), the extension adds a floating "Taziky Evaluator" panel. Click "Evaluate cars" and for every visible car it will:
• Read the VIN, mileage, and announcements from the page
• Request a valuation from taziky.com
• Write the result straight into the car's notes field: estimated value, a price range, and a confidence score Optional AI recon research: tick "Add AI recon costs" before starting and announced defects are researched as well. Notes then gain an "AI Research" section:
• Parts: a price range from live used-part listings
• Labor: book hours × your shop's own labor rate (set "Repair labor costs $/hour" in the panel; it persists between sessions) Numbers only, no verdicts. The extension never says buy or pass — it gives you the figures and the decision stays yours.
Runs work through the entire list: progress bar, stop control, automatic "See more" loading, and
already-evaluated cars are skipped.
Account: evaluations require a free taziky.com account. Sign in once from the extension's toolbar icon (email, password, and an SMS code); the panel shows who is signed in and offers Sign out. New users can create an account from the same popup.
Privacy: the extension runs only on carmaxauctions.com and talks only to taziky.com. It sends vehicle data (VIN, mileage, announcement text) to obtain valuations and your sign-in details to authenticate; it stores only your sign-in tokens and panel settings in your browser. taziky.com keeps a record of evaluations with a hashed VIN, never the raw VIN.
