Tauphy adds one quiet pause right before you pay for clothes online. Fill your bag as much as you like - Tauphy leaves "Add to bag" alone, because a bag is a good place to save things for later. When you click "Place order", "Pay now", "Complete purchase" or "Buy now" on a clothing store (or reach its checkout or payment page), Tauphy asks a simple question: are you really, really sure? It shows the price and what that money could grow to if you invested it instead. Then the choice is yours. - Drop it: cancel the click and drop the money into your savings jar. - I really, really need it: your click goes through, and Tauphy stays quiet on that step of that site for five minutes. Not today. Future you says thanks. FREE ACCOUNT, 30-SECOND SETUP Tauphy needs a free account. After you install it, a short setup asks three quick questions (what gets you buying, where you are with saving, and what you'd rather do with the money), then your email - we send a 6-digit code, no password. Until you sign in, Tauphy stays inactive: no pop-ups, and nothing is collected. WHAT TAUPHY KEEPS WHILE YOU ARE SIGNED IN Each time the Tauphy pop-up appears, the extension sends to the Tauphy server: the store's domain, the page address (without query strings), the page title, the product name, description, brand, category and SKU, the web address of the product's photo on the store's image server (not the photo itself), the step (pay button / checkout page), the price and currency, the projected value shown, your decision (dropped / bought anyway / dismissed), the time, and your Tauphy version and settings. We also keep your email, consent record, browser language and time zone, and your setup answers. This is used to show your History, savings and demo portfolio on any device, to tailor Tauphy to you, and for Tauphy's own product analytics. It is never sold or used for ads. Only pages where the pop-up appeared are recorded, never your general browsing. You can sign out (Tauphy then stops working), export or delete all of it at any time.
