About Taskumi
Turn emails, web pages and anything you select into Taskumi tasks, and tick off today's list without leaving the page.
Taskumi adds a Taskumi button next to Gmail's own "Add to Tasks", and to the hover actions of every email in your inbox. Click it and the email becomes a task in Taskumi, with the sender, a short excerpt and a link straight back to the conversation, so nothing you need to act on gets buried.
• One click from an open email or straight from the inbox
• Shift-click to change the title, set a due date or mark it high priority first
• Emails that are already tasks show a tick; click it to open the task
• Right-click any selection, link or page and choose "Add to Taskumi"
• A keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+T) adds the open email or page
• See today's tasks in the toolbar popup, tick them off, or add a new one
• Choose where tasks land: Backlog or Today, Work or Home, and which space
• A clear confirmation only once the task is really saved, with a link to open it
• Adding the same email twice never creates a duplicate
Secure by design
• Connect once by approving a code in Taskumi. You never type your password into the extension.
• The extension reads an email only when you click its button, and never reads your other mail. To show which emails are already tasks it sends only their conversation ids.
• On other sites it reads nothing until you right-click "Add to Taskumi" or press the shortcut, and then only the selection, the page title and its address.
• Disconnect at any time from the extension or from Settings in Taskumi.
Requires a Taskumi account (taskumi.com).
