TagTab - Organize your tabs for once!

📑 Save the tabs you actually need. Close the rest. TagTab is a one-click tab organizer for people whose browser is sitting at 47 open tabs. Group tabs under a name, clear them off your screen, and pull them back when you need them again. ✨ What it does 🏷️ Save and tag all open tabs in one click 🌳 Organize tags in a tree (Work/Frontend/React, Research/2026, etc.) 🤖 Auto-classify tabs by URL patterns you define 📅 Date-grouped view so you can find what you saved last Tuesday ↩️ Restore one tab, a whole tag, or everything at once 📦 Archive tags you're done with so they stop cluttering the sidebar 🧹 Dedupe entries by URL so the same page doesn't pile up 🎨 Two editorial themes, light and dark Pick Magazine (cream paper, serif headings, orange accent) 📰 or Notebook (warmer palette, handwritten feel) 📓. ☀️ Light mode, 🌙 dark mode, or follow your system setting. Most tab managers look like a developer tool — TagTab looks like something you'd actually want to open every morning. ☕ 🔒 Privacy by design Everything stays in your browser. No account, no server, no telemetry. TagTab uses Chrome's activeTab permission instead of broad host access, so it can only see a tab when you click the icon to save it. 👀 👥 Good for 💻 Developers juggling several projects at once 🔬 Researchers and writers collecting sources 🎓 Students keeping coursework material in one place 😅 Anyone who feels mildly anxious about how many tabs they have open right now ⚡ How it works 🖱️ Click the TagTab icon 🏷️ Pick an existing tag or create a new one 💾 Open tabs are saved and closed 🔍 Browse, restore, or auto-classify them later from the full-page manager 🌐 Works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera).
