The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Tabvix - Session Saver & Tab Manager
Find your way back to the pages you had open.
Too many tabs, and you can no longer tell what any of them were. You step away from your work, and putting the same screen back together takes longer than it should.
Tabvix makes both of those lighter.
Your tab URLs, titles, and saved sessions stay on your own computer. They are never sent to any server. (If you purchase Premium, we receive your email address to confirm the purchase — your tabs and sessions are still never sent.)
■ What's free
・List and search your open tabs
Three views — list, grid, and detail — with search across titles and URLs.
・Tidy up
Group tabs by site, save-and-close them, or pick which ones to close.
・Save and restore sessions
Save the exact arrangement of your windows and tabs. Reopen it later, or replace your current windows with it. Chrome tab groups come back too — name, color, and collapsed state included.
・Names, tags, and stars
Label saved sessions so you can find them again.
・Auto-save
Save automatically at an interval you choose, and when a window closes.
・Undo and redo
Reverse a restore or an auto-tidy with one click.
・Workspaces
Switch whole sets of tabs — work, research, and so on.
・Import and export
Write sessions out as JSON or text, and read them back.
・ChatGPT conversation index
Records only the URL, title, and timestamp of conversations you visit, organized by date and folder. It never reads the conversation itself.
・Dark and light themes
Or follow your system setting.
All of the above is free.
The free version keeps up to 100 saved sessions. Auto-saves and saves made when you close a window do not count toward those 100. Once you reach 100, everything you have already saved can still be restored, exported, and deleted as before — clear out what you no longer need and you can save again.
■ Premium (an optional paid add-on)
Premium keeps every free feature exactly as it is, removes the limit on how much you can save, and adds three things: tidying that happens on its own, a way to find things later, and a way to rewind.
・Unlimited saved sessions
The 100-session limit of the free version goes away, so you can save at every stopping point without counting.
・Automatic rules — stop tidying by hand
Set a rule like "when I open github.com, put it in Development," and tabs land in the right group the moment they open. You set it up once.
・Duplicate cleanup — don't leave five copies of the same page open
Finds tabs pointing at the same page and lists them. You choose which one to keep before anything closes, and undo brings them back.
・Work history — go back to how things were
Records the state of your open tabs automatically, so you can return to an earlier moment. Tab groups come back with it.
・Advanced search — find a page you had open before
Narrow saved tabs by site, by date range, and by whether they're open right now.
Pricing, billing terms, and the refund policy are shown on the purchase page.
Purchases are handled on our own site, not through the Chrome Web Store.
