TabToTask - Task-based Tab Manager

TabToTask is a task-based browser tab workspace for people who keep many tabs open. It presents real browser tabs beside virtual tasks so you can find the right page quickly. Organizing virtual tasks does not change real browser tabs; tabs are switched, opened, closed, grouped, pinned, or reordered only after an explicit user action. MAIN FEATURES • Search, find, switch, open, close, and restore browser tabs. • Organize pages into virtual tasks while keeping one primary task per page. • Open a full-screen task workspace on every new tab, or press Alt+Q on an ordinary webpage to open Quick Access. • Create, rename, reorder, pause, complete, restore, and undo task changes. • Use browser-native tab groups through explicit user actions. • Pin frequently used sites in Web Dock and restore a selected recently closed webpage. • Search local tabs, tasks, history, and optional bookmarks from one workspace. • Choose Chrome's default search provider or explicitly select Google, Bing, Baidu, or Yandex. TabToTask does not change Chrome's default search provider, home page, or address bar. • Use Chinese or English, light or dark themes, and local privacy controls. OPTIONAL AI Cloud AI is optional and is off on first install. It is enabled only by an eligible trial or AI entitlement and can be turned off at any time. When enabled, TabToTask sends minimized tab context through its HTTPS service to an external AI processor only for the requested filtering or enabled automatic organization. AI can adjust permitted virtual-task relationships, but it does not move, close, pin, group, or reorder real browser tabs. See the privacy policy for the current data scope, processors, retention, and user controls. TRIAL AND PAID FEATURES Some entitlement-controlled features require a valid trial or activation license. Purchases, licenses, and AI entitlements are supplied by developer Lufei, not by Google. Current pricing, entitlement periods, sales terms, and refund rules are shown on the official website or checkout channel before purchase. Core local tab finding, task management, closing, and restore functions do not require cloud AI. PRIVACY Tab titles, URLs, task relationships, history results, and user actions are handled only to provide the tab-management workflow. Most organization happens locally. If a user explicitly submits feedback, the feedback message and optional reply email are sent to TabToTask support. A diagnostic is sent only after the user previews and confirms it. Anonymous analytics is off by default and requires opt-in. The extension does not sell user data, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or lending decisions. Users can clear local behavior data, local AI settings, pending analytics, and all local extension data from Privacy & Data settings.
