The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About tabs-sort-unique
a tiny web-extension, that removes duplicated tabs, and re-order tabs a-z by their URL, automatically putting websites from similar URLs near each other.
designed to handle cases of huge amount of tabs from crashed/restored/previous session, UNDO of closing of a lot of windows and tabs, opening huge amount of tabs, or simply opening a lot of links from web-search engine, once you might already opened (but you got a lot of open tabs so it is hard to tell).
first step to help reduce time consumed by checking "if I've got something important in those tabs".
ordering is sorted a-z to be as much deterministic as possible.
web-extension uses "tabs" permission, and triggered by clicking the web-extension icon ("badge") on the toolbar, so it is probably best to pin it.
there is no data collection, no ads, no modification of requests
the web-extension is free, works offline, and open source (MIT).
