About TableGrab - Web Table to Excel Converter

TableGrab turns the tables you see on a page into CSV files you can actually use. Copying a table by hand usually ends in one messy blob: headers collapse into a single cell, merged rows land in the wrong column, and numbers pick up stray line breaks. TableGrab reads the HTML table structure directly and rebuilds it as a proper grid, so the CSV opens in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice or Numbers with the layout intact. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the TableGrab icon on any page — it scans every HTML table and shows rows × columns for each one. 2. Tick the tables you want, or just hit Export All. 3. Files download instantly. No page reload, no account, no setup. KEY FEATURES • Structured extraction — parsed from the HTML source rather than a visual copy, so nothing shifts a column. • Merged cells handled — rowspan and colspan expanded into a consistent grid. • Batch export — one table, a selection, or every table on the page in a single click. • Hover highlight — point at an entry in the list and the matching table lights up on the page, so you always export the right one. • Whitespace cleanup — collapses stray spaces, newlines and leftover HTML fragments inside cells. • UTF-8 BOM option — stops Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other non-Latin characters from turning into garbled text in Excel. • Smart filenames — built from the page title plus a timestamp, so your downloads stay sorted. • Hidden and layout tables filtered out, with a switch to include hidden tables when you need them. • Choose whether files go straight to your Downloads folder or Chrome asks where to save each one. FREE AND LICENSE The free version exports up to 5 tables per page — plenty for everyday lookups. A license key removes the limit and unlocks unlimited exports on any page. PRIVACY Everything runs locally in your browser. Table content is never uploaded, stored on a server, or sent anywhere. TableGrab requests only the permissions it actually uses — activeTab, scripting, downloads and storage — plus access to its own license server — and it never reads pages you haven't asked it to scan. LANGUAGES English, 简体中文, Deutsch, Español, Français, 日本語 COMPATIBILITY Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi). Manifest V3. PLEASE USE IT RESPONSIBLY TableGrab is built for personal data collection and research, not for scraping content you don't have permission to use. Please respect the terms of service and copyright of every website you export from.
