About Table of Contents for Any Article – Outline & Reading Progress
Turn any long article into an outline you can navigate. Click the toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+T (Option+Shift+T on a Mac), and a table of contents appears beside the page. Click a heading to jump there; the section you're reading stays highlighted as you scroll.
It finds the main article by itself, so menus, sidebars and comment threads stay out of the outline. It works on blogs, documentation, wikis, news sites and single-page apps, including Feishu and Yuque pages, and keeps up when content loads late or the page changes without reloading.
FEATURES
• Up to six heading levels, with a breadcrumb that shows where you are
• Reading progress: time left, a progress line, and the current section filling in as you read it
• Search headings as you type; ↑ / ↓ to choose, Enter to jump. Alt+Shift+F opens search directly
• Float the panel anywhere, or dock it to the left or right edge. Docking moves the page over instead of covering it
• Edge rail: fold the outline into a slim strip of marks on the right edge, one per heading. Hover it for the full outline, click a mark to jump
• Copy the outline as Markdown with links back to every section, as Markdown, plain text or rich text
• Auto theme that follows the page's own colors, or force light or dark; optional frosted-glass background
• English and Chinese interface, following your browser or chosen in settings
PRIVACY
The extension only runs on the tab where you open it, through Chrome's activeTab permission. It reads that page's headings in your browser to build the outline. Nothing is collected, sent or sold, and your settings stay in your browser.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
• Alt+Shift+T: show or hide the table of contents
• Alt+Shift+F: search headings
Change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts or from the panel's settings.
