Tabagotchi Pet

Meet your new browser buddy — a virtual pet that lives in your new tab page! Tabagotchi turns tab management into a game. Your pet's health depends on how well you manage your tabs — keep things tidy and your pet thrives, let tabs pile up and your pet gets sad. **WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1** • Tab groups count as 1 toward your tab limit — organize tabs to relax your pet • Click your pet for hearts, a wiggle, and a soft boop • Hover any tab in the side panel to scroll long titles • New "History" view shows your pet's mood timeline • "Ignore for 1 hr" button silences alerts when you need quiet • Notifications and pet visuals now stay in sync with mood — no more "thriving" UI alongside "stressed" alerts **YOUR PET GROWS WITH YOU** Start with an egg, hatch your pet, and watch it evolve through 5 stages — from baby to adult. There are 7 unique species to discover, each with its own look and personality. Choose your pet's color and give it a name. Click your pet anytime to play with it — every tap rewards you with hearts, a wiggle, and a soft sound. **SMART TAB MANAGEMENT** - See all your open tabs organized by domain - **Chrome tab groups count as 1 unit** toward your limit (a group of 10 = 1) — organizing tabs literally makes your pet happier - Tab groups auto-collapse in the side panel for a cleaner view - Hover a tab name to scroll the full title back and forth — read long titles without leaving the page - Spot and clean up duplicate tabs instantly - Group tabs by site with one click - Save your current session and restore it anytime - Get gentle nudges when you exceed your tab limit, with a one-click "Ignore for 1 hr" if you need quiet **KEEP YOUR PET HAPPY** Close old tabs, clean up duplicates, and stay under your tab threshold to keep your pet healthy. Your pet's mood reacts to your browsing habits — from Thriving (golden aura) to Worried to Exhausted (dim and faded). Open the new History view in Settings to see a timeline of your pet's mood over time. Let things get too bad and your pet might not make it. **BEAUTIFUL THEMES** Your pet's egg color drives the entire palette. Choose from Minimal, Pastel, Vibrant, and Dark background vibes — every theme is unique to your pet. **KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS** - Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac) — Toggle the tab manager panel - Ctrl+Shift+X (Cmd+Shift+X on Mac) — Quick-clean all duplicate tabs **PRIVACY FIRST** Tabagotchi works entirely locally. No data leaves your browser — no accounts, no tracking, no servers. Your pet and your tabs stay private. Built with love for tab hoarders everywhere.
