Tab Suspender

Too many tabs open and your fan is screaming? Tab Suspender puts the tabs you are not using to sleep and hands the memory back to your system. The popup shows you the RAM you free in real time, so you can actually see the difference. WHAT IT DOES -Suspends inactive tabs and frees their RAM. A live counter in the popup shows how much you saved. -Never touches the tab you are looking at, and never touches tabs that are playing audio or using your mic or camera. -Works with tab groups and tree style tab setups. Grouped tabs are left alone by default, so your trees never break. -One click to restore every suspended tab at once, ideal before you close the browser. -Auto suspend on a timer, or suspend on demand with a keyboard shortcut. Whitelist any site you always want kept awake, per domain or per exact URL. PRIVATE BY DESIGN -Everything runs on your machine. No account, no sign up, no servers. -Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero data collection. -Open source, so you can read exactly what it does. FREE VS PRO -Free: manual suspend, auto timer presets, whitelist, restore all, tab group protection. -Pro (one time, 7€, no subscription): custom timer, dark theme, suspend on low system memory, and more to come. Made by an independent developer. Feedback goes straight to support@tabsuspender.app.
