Tab Pulse helps you understand how you use Chrome — without sending a single byte of browsing data anywhere. See how many tabs you open, when you open them, and how long you actually spend on each site. Everything stays on your device. WHAT TAB PULSE TRACKS • Tabs opened and closed each day • Peak concurrent tab count • Per-site visit counts • Time on site (tab in front) and active time (with recent input) • When you open tabs (hourly tab-open breakdown) Time on site counts while a tab and its window are in front — including reading without moving the mouse. Active time is a subset that also requires recent keyboard or mouse input. You can adjust the idle threshold in Settings. Background tabs are never counted.
