The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Tab Hygiene

You open Chrome. There are 87 tabs. You can't close any of them — what if you need that one? Tab Hygiene keeps your tabs from turning into a graveyard. Once a week, it shows you a calm review of tabs you've forgotten — grouped by topic — and lets you decide what to keep, close (saved to a searchable archive), or save as a Chrome bookmark. Nothing closes without your OK. Three quick utilities for everyday cleanup, all free: • Close duplicate tabs — one click, all windows. • Group all tabs by topic — Dev, Communication, Docs, Video, Social, AI, and more. • Shrink to N tabs — close the oldest in your current window until only N remain. Available in English, Español, Русский, and Deutsch. For power users, Pro adds an extended mode that helps you push back against tab clutter more actively — custom rules, background auto-close, full searchable archive (up to 500 000 closed tabs), bulk restore / bookmark / forget, advanced search ranges. It might sound scary at first. In practice, it just works. 100% local. No tracking. No accounts. No permissions on the sites you visit. Free + Pro $19 lifetime, with a 14-day free trial.
