Tab Graveyard

47 tabs open. 31 haven't been touched in 9 days. "Are you sure these are still part of your life?" Welcome to Tab Graveyard — a deliberately theatrical, atmospheric tab manager that turns tab hoarders into crypt keepers. Instead of a boring tab list, Tab Graveyard gives your idle tabs a dramatic send-off into a digital cemetery vault while helping keep your browser running smoothly. Key Features 🪦 Archive dead tabs: Automatically or manually sweep tabs that have been idle past a custom decay threshold (1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days). Tab titles, URLs, favicons, and timestamps are preserved in your local Crypt. ❤️ Keep alive / bless sites: Mark essential sites (GitHub, YouTube Music, Docs) as "Immortal" so they're never closed or buried. 🧹 Mass exorcism: A one-click purge option to bury tabs inactive for more than 24 hours when your browser feels sluggish. 📊 Tab debt & RAM insights: Track your Tab Debt, an estimate of system memory that may be freed (roughly 150MB per tab, depending on the site), and earn humorous Tab Hoarder Ranks (from Tab Monk to Grand Tab Necromancer). 🏰 The Cemetery Vault (graveyard.html): Search, filter, and view buried tabs in a full-screen tombstone gallery. Want a tab back? Click ⚡ Resurrect Tab to reopen it. 📤 Export & import backups: Download your buried tab history as a JSON file, or import backups to help retain your tab history over time. Privacy & Permissions Local storage: Tabs and URLs are stored on your device and are not intentionally transmitted elsewhere. No built-in analytics or remote code execution: The extension does not include tracking scripts or contact external servers as part of its core functionality. Minimal permissions: Requests only the tab and storage access needed for core functionality.
