The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Tab Defender

Tab Defender is a lightweight Manifest V3 Chrome extension that helps keep tab clutter under control. Set a maximum number of open tabs, see the current count on the toolbar badge, and automatically close newly opened tabs that would exceed your limit.
