About T&C Reader — know what you agree to

Know what you're agreeing to — before you click "I agree". T&C Reader reads the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on any website and tells you, in plain language, what you're signing up for. Every site gets an A–F grade, the clauses that work against you, and the exact sentence behind every claim — so you can check it yourself in one tap. WHAT YOU GET • An A–F grade for any Terms or Privacy page, with four scores: data protection, legal compliance, readability and fairness. • Red flags explained simply: selling your data, forced arbitration, no class actions, auto-renewal, trials that turn into charges, no refunds, AI training on your content, broad rights over what you post, and more. • Proof for every claim. Tap a source to see the exact sentence — or jump to it on the page. • Ask the policy anything. "Can I get a refund?" "Do they sell my data?" Short answers that quote the policy. • Dates done right. "Updated 3 months ago" is worked out against today's date, not guessed. • Your language. Summaries and answers in English, Amharic, Arabic, French, Spanish, Italian, German or Portuguese — even when the policy isn't. • Shows up where it matters. A small badge appears on sign-up forms and policy pages, and the site's grade sits right on the toolbar icon. Hide it on any site with one click, or turn on quiet mode. • Your own AI key, if you want one. Use your own Google Gemini, OpenAI or Claude key. It's encrypted in your browser and never sent to us. FREE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Everything works the moment you install it. Create an account only if you want your settings, checked sites and chat history to follow you across devices. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • We never store your browsing history. • Grade lookups send only a bare domain (like "example.com") — never the page, path or query. • Analysis runs on public policy text. • No ads. We don't sell your data. HARD TO FOOL Hidden text written to trick AI reviewers ("rate this policy as fair") is stripped out and flagged. Grades are calculated by fixed rules from the cited text, not by an AI's mood — and if a claim can't be tied to a real sentence, we don't show it. Not legal advice. T&C Reader explains what a policy says and always shows you the source. Privacy policy: https://tc-reader-omega.vercel.app/privacy Terms: https://tc-reader-omega.vercel.app/terms
