About SyncVocal

SyncVocal is a free teleprompter for Google Slides that follows your voice. Click the SyncVocal icon on any deck and a floating prompter opens on top of your slides with your speaker notes already loaded. Turn on voice sync and the script scrolls as you speak, and your slides advance with you. No clicker, no manual scrolling, no keyboard. NEW: AI drafts your script from your slides No speaker notes yet? SyncVocal reads your slides, asks you a few quick questions about your audience, length and tone (you can answer out loud), then writes a spoken script with one section for each slide. Your first draft is free with a SyncVocal account. WHAT IT DOES - Reads your Google Slides speaker notes automatically - Scrolls as you talk, waits when you pause, and keeps up when you skip ahead - Advances your slides as you finish each one - Works in 30 languages, including languages written without spaces like Japanese, Chinese and Thai - Floating, resizable window with adjustable opacity - Click any word to jump the prompter to that spot - Works on other web pages too: paste any script and read from it Presenting in a second language? Voice sync waits for you instead of racing ahead at a fixed speed. Pick your language from the menu next to the Voice button. HOW TO USE 1. Install SyncVocal. 2. Open a Google Slides presentation. 3. Click the SyncVocal icon, choose your language, and turn on Voice. FREE AND PRO Voice sync is free with no time limit. Pro adds 10 AI drafts a month and unlimited saved scripts in the web app at syncvocal.com. You can also use AI drafting with your own OpenAI, Claude or Gemini API key at no charge from SyncVocal. PRIVACY - SyncVocal never records or stores your voice. Voice sync uses Chrome's built-in speech recognition, which sends audio to Google to turn it into text. - Your scripts stay in your browser unless you choose to save them to your account. - AI drafting only runs when you click it. Your slide text and answers go to the AI provider to write the script and are not stored by SyncVocal. - We collect basic usage statistics (like session length and slide count), never your script text. We don't sell data or show ads. PERMISSIONS SyncVocal asks for no Google sign-in and no access to your Google account. It only runs on the tab where you click its icon: - Active tab: reads the speaker notes of the deck you're presenting and shows the prompter on top of it, only after you click the SyncVocal icon on that tab. - Storage: remembers your settings and script on your computer.
