SubBlur - Subtitle masking tool

subblur is a simple, lightweight tool designed for language learners who watch bilingual video content. when studying languages (such as french, spanish, or german) through movies and tv shows, dual-language subtitles can distract you—your eyes naturally drift toward reading the chinese translation. subblur solves this problem instantly! ✨ key features: • free floating blur overlay: places a semi-transparent, high-blur box directly over the video player to hide unwanted subtitles. • fully adjustable: easily drag the overlay to any position on screen and resize it to cover exact text areas. • native fullscreen support: stays on top of video players even when switching to full-screen mode (youtube, bilibili, netflix, etc.). • quick keyboard toggle: press option+b (mac) or alt+b (win) to toggle the blur box on/off at any time. • clean & unobtrusive: overlay borders and hints automatically fade out when your mouse moves away so you can enjoy uninterrupted viewing. perfect for immersion-based language learning!
