SteamPlus

SteamPlus adds a few small, carefully built quality-of-life features to the Steam website. They are designed to look like Steam built them: no banners, no ads, no tracking, and nothing that gets in your way. You can also install this from inside Steam itself, without opening a separate browser: 1. Launch any game and open the Steam Overlay (default hotkey: Shift+Tab). 2. In the overlay, open the built-in web browser and go to this extension's Chrome Web Store page. 3. Click "Add to Chrome." The overlay will pop up asking for a download location — this is a known Steam overlay quirk, not an error. Pick any folder and name, it doesn't matter. 4. The extension installs and will now also work in the Steam desktop app. FEATURES • Custom Add Funds amount Adds a "Custom" button to Steam's Add Funds page so you can top up any amount above Steam's minimum, instead of only the preset amounts. It fills in and submits Steam's own form; payment happens entirely on Steam's normal checkout pages. • Custom price display Optionally shows the currency code next to store prices (for example $59.99 USD), the percentage off where Steam doesn't show one, and clearly labelled tax estimates using a rate you set. Steam's own prices are never rewritten or converted, and anything that can't be read unambiguously is left untouched. • Profile statistics Adds a compact statistics panel to Steam Community profiles: Steam level, games owned, total playtime, achievements, account age, recent games and most played game. Each row can be turned off, and a value is only shown when it can be read reliably. • SteamID tools A SteamID button in the profile header copies the profile's SteamID64, SteamID3, SteamID2, Friend Code, permanent link or custom URL. • Level progress Shows how close a profile is to its next Steam level, with the XP still needed. • Tuesday maintenance reminder Shows a small, dismissible bar reminding you of Steam's weekly maintenance. SETTINGS Every feature and sub-option can be switched on or off, from the toolbar popup, the settings page, or directly on any Steam profile using the gear next to Profile Statistics (useful in browsers and apps without an extension toolbar). Settings apply to open Steam tabs immediately. PRIVACY SteamPlus collects nothing. There are no analytics, no tracking and no servers. It runs only on store.steampowered.com and steamcommunity.com, requests no data from anywhere else, and never reads passwords, Steam Guard codes or payment details.
