StartKick: First Step

StartKick: First Step looks at your open tabs, names the tasks you are putting off, and gives you the first step for the one you pick. You do it. Then it reads the page again and gives you the next step, built on what you actually did. How it works 1. Click the StartKick icon. It lists the real tasks from your open tabs, most avoided first. 2. Pick one. StartKick jumps to that tab, reads what is on it, and gives you the first step. On a blank document that is "decide in one line what this is for", not "write a paragraph". 3. Start a 5, 10 or 25 minute kick. The badge counts down. 4. Press "next step". StartKick reads the page again and continues from where you are. Big projects become a row of small steps. 5. Not it? Say what you need and it thinks again. Also in the panel - Calming exercises before you start: box breathing, the physiological sigh, 4-7-8, a three-minute break. - Short courses: the ideas behind starting, 3 to 5 minutes each, with one thing to try today. - If you want, one email every Monday: the steps you took, and one idea for the next one. What it does not do - It does not read anything while the panel is closed. It looks at tab titles when you open it and at one page when you pick a task, and never stores the page text. - It does not pay anything or send anything for you. - It does not need an account. Five steps a day are free. Made by StartKick. Know what's stopping you. Find your next step. If you want unlimited steps that fit the way you get stuck, plus a coach to talk it out with, the 2-minute check is one click away from the panel.
