speedmod

Control playback your way. Speed Control lets you adjust the pace of any HTML5 video or audio instantly, whether you’re catching up on lectures, skimming tutorials, or slowing things down to take notes. Highlights Shortcut-driven: Tap A, S, or D (or choose your own in Chrome’s Shortcuts page) to decrease, reset, or increase speed while the video keeps playing. Live overlay feedback: See the active playback rate whenever you change it—no guessing. Session memory: Optionally remember the last speed per tab or revert to your preferred default on every page load. Per-site control: Works across YouTube, streaming platforms, social feeds, and any site that uses standard HTML5 media elements—even inside iframes. Custom settings: Choose minimum/maximum limits, step size, and whether the default speed should auto-apply. Bilingual interface: Switch between English and Brazilian Portuguese from the options page. Boost productivity, learn at your own pace, or simply streamline entertainment—Speed Control keeps you in charge of playback without interrupting the experience.
