The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Spartan BT — TradingView Backtest Logger
Spartan BT captures Long/Short position data from TradingView's position drawing tool settings panel and turns it into a real backtest record without the need for multiple copy-paste into a spreadsheet.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Draw your Long/Short Position on a TradingView chart as usual and double click it to open the settings panel.
2. Click the Spartan BT icon, then "Capture from TradingView" — entry, stop, and exit prices are read straight from the position tool.
3. Fill in date, time, and mark the trade Win or Lose.
4. Click "Add to Log." Repeat for as many trades as you're backtesting.
5. When you're done, export to .xlsx or .csv.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
- 100% local — every trade you log stays in your browser via chrome.storage.local. No account, no sign-in, no setup.
- Export fills a real backtest workbook.
- Dock mode — pin Spartan BT open as a side panel next to your chart instead of a popup that closes every time you click away.
- Nothing gets lost — captured prices and in-progress fields are saved automatically, so accidentally closing the panel never costs you a trade you were mid-way through logging.
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone backtesting a strategy on TradingView who wants a fast, structured way to log trades without breaking their workflow to copy numbers into a spreadsheet by hand.
PRIVACY
Spartan BT makes zero network requests. All data lives in your browser's local storage only, and is removed if you uninstall the extension. See the full privacy policy: https://github.com/spartanhuss/Spartan-BT-Privacy.git
