The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Spark KNE Verify
Spark KNE Verify helps technical writers and editors review source support for selected factual claims before publication. Select a claim in an AI response or a web page, choose Verify with Spark KNE, and inspect its result in the browser side panel.
The 0.3.5 English interface provides:
- Individual claim cards with supporting sources, background references, conflicts, and unresolved items.
- Clear warnings when a selection has unevaluated claims or incomplete coverage.
- A public review record you can preview and copy, containing the selected text, returned result, public references, request ID, and time. Preparing or copying this record does not send it to another person or add human sign-off.
- Immediate automatic verification from the selected-text context menu. Editing the text clears the old result and its prepared record.
Source support does not certify a whole draft or guarantee truth. Missing evidence does not mean a claim is false. Coverage and evidence matching remain limited; open the sources and check the relevant version, units, and conditions. High-risk claims require qualified review.
Anonymous users have a trial of 10 verifications per 5 hours. History, feedback, issue reporting, and source contributions require sign-in. Contributions enter a review queue and do not directly change KNE Core. Existing accounts and privacy choices are retained. New development and support focus on English technical content; this release does not claim accuracy or time-saving advantages in customer work.
Privacy and control
Spark sends selected text and available source-page context to https://knespark.com after you accept the data-use disclosure and request verification or submit related material. It does not monitor the clipboard, scan conversations in the background, or automatically send a copied review record. Consented interaction events contain metadata, not selected text or page URLs.
The extension stores settings, consent, authentication tokens, selected-text drafts, source-page context, the latest result, and a bounded event retry queue locally. Passwords are sent over HTTPS for sign-in and are not stored by the extension. Signing out clears tokens and the latest result; drafts and settings remain until cleared or the extension is removed.
