SoundCloud Aesthetic Player — Fullscreen Now-Playing

Click the cover art in SoundCloud's bottom bar. The whole page becomes a fullscreen aesthetic player — the artwork goes huge, the background glows the colour of the cover, and the controls fade away when you don't need them. Press Esc to go back. That's the whole onboarding. No accounts, no ads, no data collection. Works with free SoundCloud and SoundCloud Go+. ✦ The headline trick • The background of the page becomes the colour of the cover art — sampled live from whatever's playing, applied across the entire UI. • Artwork fills your screen, surrounded by a soft aura glow that pulses with the music's palette. ✦ Made for actually listening • Fullscreen now-playing screen — opens with one click on the bottom-bar artwork. • Hover-revealed controls: play, pause, next, previous, shuffle, repeat, like. • Volume slider on hover. • 60fps progress bar that reads directly from the audio element — no jitter. • Long track names scroll smoothly and pause when you hover them. • Click the artist name → opens the artist page directly. ✦ Built for any aesthetic Your room, your palette, your taste. Listening to neon-purple anime tracks on a purple LED setup? The screen matches. Pastel pink ambient on a cream desk? Same. The player adapts to whatever you're playing — and to whatever vibe you're in. ✦ Keyboard shortcuts Space — play / pause Esc — close the overlay ✦ Why people use this • You leave SoundCloud open while you work and want it to look like a player, not a webpage. • You miss the fullscreen "Canvas" view from Spotify or the now-playing screen from Apple Music or Yandex Music. • You want to glance at the cover and the time remaining without hunting for the SoundCloud tab among 40 others. • You want SoundCloud to look as good as the music you're listening to. ✦ Privacy & permissions The extension only runs on soundcloud.com. It reads what SoundCloud already shows you — the track title, the artist name, the artwork URL — and uses that to render the overlay. Nothing is collected, sent to a server, or stored outside your browser. The full privacy policy is linked from this listing. ✦ Free, forever All features are free. No subscription, no upsells, no ads. A Pro tier with custom accent colours, a keyboard-shortcut editor, and volume memory is on the roadmap. Install. Play any track on SoundCloud. Click the cover art. That's it.
