Social Grabber saves the social media post you are viewing straight to your computer — videos, images, covers and captions, organized into folders automatically. Open any supported platform. A small card appears on the page (bottom-left by default, drag it wherever you like — the position is remembered) showing how many items were detected. 2. Click "Pack & download" (or press Ctrl+Shift+S) — every detected media file plus a caption .txt is saved into your download folders. 3. Folders are organized automatically: Downloads/SocialGrabber/<platform>/<author>/<publish-date>_<title>/ 4. Customize the root folder and per-platform subfolders in the extension popup. FEATURES • One-click batch download of all detected media + a caption .txt, with a progress bar and elapsed time • Pause / cancel: stop a running pack at any moment, resume it, or skip the rest — files already saved stay where they are • Copy caption: copy the post text straight from the card to paste into an AI or share (text only — no links, no watermark) • AI rewrite prompt: every caption .txt ends with a ready-to-copy prompt — send it together with the downloaded video to Gemini / ChatGPT and the like to break down the original structure and generate similar scripts for your own niche • Pick what to save: when a page has several posts detected, tick the ones you want and pack only those; anything that failed can be re-run with one click via "Retry failed" • Author-page list: on a profile or Reels tab the card shows "n posts by this author" so you can tick across them — it lists only posts your own browsing already loaded, and it never scrolls or paginates to fetch more. Xiaohongshu shows "n posts loaded on this profile (each one gets opened while packing)": its profile response only carries thumbnails, so packing a ticked list opens and closes those already-loaded cards for you, one after another — the same clicks you would do by hand.
