Social Focus

Social Focus is a lightweight, privacy-first Chrome extension designed to help you reclaim your time and attention. It automatically hides highly engaging and distracting modules like Stories, Reels, Shorts, and Trending/Explore feeds on major platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X (Twitter). Why install Social Focus? • Reclaim Your Focus: Removes infinite-scroll video feeds and trending modules so you can use social media with intention, without getting sucked into a rabbit hole. • Customizable Control: Easily toggle the hiding rules on or off for individual sites directly from the extension popup. • Focus Log: Track your digital wellbeing with a running count of hidden elements and a log of recent removals so you can see exactly how much distraction you've avoided. • 100% Privacy-Focused: No AI, no tracking, no analytics, and zero external network requests. Everything runs entirely locally in your browser using simple CSS/DOM rules. None of your data ever leaves your device.
