Privacy Policy for Social Email Finder Effective date: September 4, 2026 Social Email Finder is a Chrome extension that helps users extract publicly available contact email addresses and related information from Instagram and TikTok profiles and linked public websites. Information processed The extension may process profile URLs, usernames, display names, public biographies, publicly displayed email addresses, linked website URLs, scan status, and the public source where an email was found. How information is used This information is processed only to provide the extension’s profile scanning, email extraction, deduplication, progress saving, copying, and CSV export features. Local processing and storage Extracted information and scan progress are processed and stored locally using Chrome extension storage. The developer does not receive, view, store, or maintain copies of this information. Users can delete stored information by clicking Clear inside the extension or by uninstalling the extension. CSV files exported by the user remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them. Network requests The extension makes requests directly from the user’s browser to Instagram, TikTok, and public websites selected by the user. Access to linked websites is optional and is requested only when the user enables website scanning. The extension does not read, store, transmit, or disclose passwords, authentication tokens, or browser cookies. Information sharing The developer does not sell, rent, disclose, or share extracted information, browsing information, or extension usage information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties. Third-party websites Instagram, TikTok, and linked websites operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Social Email Finder is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by Instagram, TikTok, Meta, or ByteDance. Data security The extension does not operate a developer-controlled server and does not transmit extracted results to the developer. Users are responsible for protecting exported CSV files stored on their devices. User responsibilities Users must use publicly available contact information responsibly and comply with applicable privacy, marketing, anti-spam, and platform rules. Children’s privacy Social Email Finder is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Policy changes This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension’s functionality or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made. Chrome Web Store Limited Use The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
