About Snapstacker
Snapstacker turns Ctrl+C into a collector: copy as many things as you like, then paste them all at once with a single Ctrl+V.
FEATURES
• Copy many, paste once: every copy is added to a list, and one paste inserts everything
• Two paste formats: one entry per line (a spreadsheet gets one row per entry) or everything on a single line
• Separators for the single line: comma, space, semicolon, pipe, dash, or add your own
• Copy or cut (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X): lines and spreadsheet cells are collected one per line
• Add web addresses: Alt+S adds every tab in the window, and the right-click menu adds a link, the page, or all tabs
• Alt+G opens a stack of links in new tabs; Alt+V adds the last pasted or cleared stack back to your list
• On Mac the shortcuts are shown with ⌘ ⌥ ⇧
• Addresses you copy from the address bar are collected too, when they belong to one of your open tabs
• Drag entries to reorder them, or use Alt+Up and Alt+Down; remove any entry with one click
• "Copy last stack" adds the list you last pasted or cleared to your current list, ready to paste again
• All shortcuts at a glance at the bottom of the popup
• Works in tabs you already have open, no refresh needed
• Press Alt+B to switch Snapstacker on or off from any tab; switching off pauses collecting and keeps your list
• A short welcome screen shows what's new the first time you open it after an update
• Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Turkish and Albanian, matching your browser language
HOW TO USE
1. Click the Snapstacker icon and turn the switch on (or press Alt+B).
2. Select text on any page and press Ctrl+C. Repeat as often as you like. Each copy is added to the list. To add web addresses, press Alt+S or use the right-click menu.
3. Press Ctrl+V where you want the text. Everything is pasted at once and the list empties.
4. Pick "Rows" or "One line" in the popup before you paste.
PRIVACY
Everything stays on your device. Snapstacker has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and never sends what you copy anywhere. Your list is kept on your device until you paste it, clear it, or restart the browser; switching Snapstacker off pauses collecting but does not empty the list. The last pasted or cleared list is kept for "Copy last stack" until it is replaced or the browser restarts.
PLEASE NOTE
• While Snapstacker is on, the combined list is placed on your clipboard, and other programs on your computer can read the clipboard. Switch it off (Alt+B) before copying passwords or other sensitive information.
• Switching off does not delete what was already collected. If your list contains sensitive text, press Clear before switching off, and restart the browser to remove it from the last stack as well.
• Pasting into another program, such as the desktop version of a spreadsheet, works, but the browser cannot tell that you pasted, so use Clear to empty the list afterwards.
• Snapstacker ignores copies from password fields and from fields a website has marked as one-time-code or payment-card fields.
• Snapstacker cannot run on some browser pages, such as the Chrome Web Store and chrome:// pages.
• Requires Chrome 119 or newer.
PERMISSIONS
"Read and change all your data on all websites" is needed so Snapstacker can notice when you press Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V on any page and read the text you selected. It only acts when you copy or paste while Snapstacker is switched on, and it does not read anything else on the page.
"Read data you copy and paste" lets Snapstacker notice a web address you copy from the address bar. While Snapstacker is switched on it looks at the clipboard only to spot an address that matches one of your open tabs; anything else is ignored, never stored and never sent. Nothing is read while it is switched off.
