The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About SnapGrab

SnapGrab is the fastest way to collect images while you browse, prepare them for real use, and download the finished set in one go. Right-click any image and choose SnapGrab. A badge on the toolbar shows how many you have marked. Open the marked-images workspace to filter, edit, preview, and batch-download without bouncing between tabs or online tools. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU CAN DO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Mark images from almost any webpage with one right-click • Review everything in a dedicated workspace (reuses an open tab when possible) • Filter by search, tags, orientation, minimum size, and sort order • Edit each image independently: resize, rotate, flip, brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale • Live preview before you export (full resolution on download) • Apply the same edit settings to multiple selected images • Export as JPEG, PNG, or WebP with a quality slider • Compress on your device with WASM codecs (MozJPEG, libwebp, OxiPNG) • Optionally run a second TinyPNG pass if you add your own API key • Download selected images in bulk with progress and cancel • Download the original file unchanged when you need the source • Copy the image URL or open the source page from any card • Set a custom download folder under Chrome’s Downloads directory • Optional per-image file names (otherwise auto-generated, collision-safe) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ BUILT FOR REAL WORKFLOWS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Designers, marketers, researchers, and power users often save images one at a time, then re-open them in another app to resize or re-encode. SnapGrab keeps that loop in the browser: mark as you go, refine in one place, export once. Up to 500 marked images (newest kept). Dark mode follows your system preference. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY BY DESIGN ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • No SnapGrab account • No analytics or tracking • Marked images and settings stay in Chrome storage on your device • Local WASM compression never leaves your computer • TinyPNG is optional and off by default—image bytes are sent only when you enable it and provide your own API key ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW TO GET STARTED ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. Install SnapGrab 2. Right-click any image → SnapGrab 3. Click the SnapGrab icon to open your marked images 4. Edit, select, and Download selected Optional: open Settings to set a download folder or enable TinyPNG with a free developer key from tinypng.com/developers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERMISSIONS (WHY WE ASK) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Context menus — add SnapGrab to the image right-click menu • Downloads — save original or edited images • Storage — remember settings, marked list, and optional API key • Notifications — short confirmation when you mark an image • Host access — load images for previews and exports; optional TinyPNG API SnapGrab does not sell data and does not run a backend for your images. Questions or feedback? Open an issue on the project repository or contact the developer from the store listing.
