Smirk: Non-Custodial Tipping Wallet Smirk is a private, non-custodial wallet for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Wownero and Grin, with a Nostr identity built in. One extension, five chains, one backup. YOUR KEYS NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE Your seed is created on your device and encrypted with your password. It is never sent to any server. Smirk's server shows balances and broadcasts transactions; it cannot move your coins. For Monero, Wownero and Grin it receives a view-only key so it can see incoming payments. It can never spend them. PRIVACY COINS, DONE PROPERLY Full Monero and Wownero light-wallet support, with history built only from your own outputs. Grin also uses our new open-source light-wallet system backend to offer seamless usage without having to wait on long wallet syncs. SWAP BETWEEN CHAINS Swap between supported coins inside the wallet. You see the quote and the fee before you confirm. A NOSTR IDENTITY FROM THE SAME SEED Your Nostr key comes from your wallet seed, so your identity is restored with your backup. Use it on Nostr sites through the built-in NIP-07 signer, claim a readable name@domain handle, keep separate burner identities, or import an nsec you already have. MESSAGES AND TIPS IN ONE INBOX Send end-to-end encrypted messages, and send or receive tips over Nostr. WORKS WITH WEB APPS, ON YOUR TERMS Sites can request a payment or a signature. You see exactly what you are approving. Grant scoped permissions if you want them, see every connected site, and revoke any of them in Settings. Optionally require your password for every send or signature, even while the wallet is unlocked. FAST AND PREDICTABLE Balances appear instantly from the last known state, then refresh. Fiat estimates are shown before you send, and the fee you see is the fee you sign. RUN IT YOURSELF Smirk uses our server by default. You can point it at your own, and the server is open source.
