About Skuup: Name Your Price
Name your price on the product you are looking at. Skuup finds the stores that carry it, sends them your offer, and tells you when one says yes.
HOW IT WORKS
- Open a product page on any store and click the Skuup icon (or press Alt+Shift+S). Skuup reads the product, the option you picked and the list price.
- Type the price you will pay and how long to keep asking: one week, two weeks, 30 days, or until you withdraw.
- Skuup finds the stores that sell that item, independent retailers included, and sends each one your offer. Stores answer by email, most within a few days. Many never answer.
- The first store to accept wins. You get an email and a payment link, pay that store through Stripe Checkout on its own account, and it ships to you. Counteroffers show in the panel and in your email.
- Desktop alerts tell you when a store answers, even with the panel closed. You can turn them off in Settings.
WHERE IT WORKS BEST
Things independent retailers sell under a brand's pricing rules: cameras, hi-fi, kitchen appliances, tools, golf, bikes, watches, furniture, baby gear. Offers 10 to 20 percent under the list price get a real look. Half price does not.
WHAT SKUUP DOES NOT DO
- It never reads a page unless you click the icon on it.
- It never sees your payment details. You pay the store, through Stripe.
- It never shows your email address to stores.
Skuup is free for shoppers. Stores pay Skuup a commission on completed sales.
