Skirting Board Calculator

Skirting Board Calculator Overview The Skirting Board Calculator is a Chrome extension developed by Skirting World to help users accurately estimate how much skirting board material they need for a renovation project. It simplifies calculations, reduces material waste, and integrates with Skirting World’s product pages for smoother ordering. Key Features 1. Two Calculation Methods Total Length: Users can enter the full perimeter measurement of a room. The tool supports millimetres, centimetres, metres, feet, and inches. Room by Room: Users can input wall lengths for multiple rooms and walls individually, which is helpful for more complex spaces. 2. Material and Waste Calculation Calculates required board lengths based on standard UK sizes (3050mm and 4200mm). Estimates material waste from cutting and provides recommendations that minimize excess. Displays total required length, purchased length, expected waste, and leftover material. 3. Direct Product Integration Links directly with Skirting World’s product pages. Automatically fills in the correct quantity of boards based on your calculations, reducing manual input and order errors. 4. Offline and Private Works fully offline for calculations. Stores your data locally (no cloud syncing), keeping your information private and accessible for future reference. Technical Details Built using Chrome Extension Manifest V3.
