Sixpence

SixPence is a browser extension that puts your idle internet connection and CPU to work — powering AI inference and decentralized agents — and pays you for the contribution. How it works Install the extension, choose how much you want to share, and start earning. SixPence runs quietly in the background while you browse. The more bandwidth and compute you contribute, the more points you earn. What you earn Redeemable points. Earnings scale with your contribution: light users earn passively just by leaving the extension on; heavier contributors earn more by sharing additional bandwidth and compute. What's shared — and what isn't Only your unused bandwidth and idle CPU. SixPence never touches your browsing history, passwords, accounts, files, or any personal data. Resource sharing is transparent: you can see exactly what's being used, and pause or stop anytime. Why it matters The infrastructure behind today's AI is owned by a handful of companies. SixPence is building an alternative — a network of everyday users who collectively provide the compute that powers AI, and earn a stake in it.
