The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About SideThreadGPT

SideThread: ChatGPT Branching in a Sidebar ChatGPT introduced branching (“Branch in a new chat”), but the experience is clunky — every branch opens a completely new chat, forcing you to lose track of the main conversation. SideThread fixes this. It adds a sidebar for ChatGPT branching, so you can spin off side questions without breaking your flow. ✅ Branch in a sidebar – open side threads directly from any ChatGPT message. ✅ Stay in flow – no more losing your main conversation when branching a chat. ✅ Keyboard shortcuts – Ctrl+Shift+B to branch, Esc to close. Fast and seamless. ✅ Reopen anytime – easily revisit side threads, pinned to the original message. ✅ Organized workflow – keep main chat on track while exploring tangents in parallel. Whether you’re learning, coding, planning a trip, or writing, SideThread makes ChatGPT branching simple, organized, and natural.
