The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About SideNote

SideNote is notes in the sidebar of your browser! Revolutionary? ❌ No. Good enough? ✅ Perhaps. SideNote is a simple note-taking extension that lives right in your Chrome sidebar. Write notes. Go about your day. Come back. There they are. Boom. Notes. No accounts. No syncing. No startup pitch deck about "reimagining the future of thought capture." Just notes. In your browser. Where you already are. Will it change your life? Probably not. Will it help you remember that thing you were definitely going to forget? Maybe! Or maybe they'll sit in the void never to be seen again... but hey! You tried ❤️ Voted "Not-The-Worst" Google Chrome Extension 2026 (...by its creator).
