About SideHub
SideHub lets you build a personal side-panel workspace for the web apps and sites you use throughout the day.
Add the current page or paste any HTTP/HTTPS URL, then keep those websites available in Chrome's native side panel while you move between ordinary tabs. SideHub stores your shortcuts locally and supports drag-and-drop grouping. When you add a website or click it in the rail, SideHub asks for access to that site so it can load in the side panel. For user-added sites, SideHub may remove iframe-blocking X-Frame-Options and Content-Security-Policy headers only inside the side panel. Ordinary tabs are not modified.
Key features:
- Add websites from the current tab or by URL.
- Keep selected websites in Chrome's native Side Panel.
- Switch between sites without opening extra browser tabs.
- Rename websites and organize them into draggable groups.
- Open login or known external-only destinations in normal tabs when needed.
- Store all SideHub configuration locally on the user's device.
SideHub does not include analytics, advertising, browsing-history tracking, remote extension code, or collection of personal data. It does not request access to all websites at install time.
What's new in 1.0.1:
Sites opened in the side panel can stay signed in. After you grant access to a site, SideHub keeps a side-panel-only copy of that site's existing sign-in cookies. Ordinary tabs are unchanged, and the copy is not sent to us.
