Sidefold

Sidefold turns your YouTube subscriptions into organized folders — and lets you filter your feed by any of them. Built to look and feel like a native part of YouTube, with zero clutter. ────────────────────────────── 🎯 FILTER YOUR FEED IN ONE CLICK ────────────────────────────── The killer feature. On your Subscriptions feed (/feed/subscriptions), a clean category bar appears at the top. Click any folder to instantly see only the videos from channels in that category. No more endless scrolling through content you don't care about — go straight to what you want to watch. Stop wasting time on the wrong videos. Filter, watch, done. ────────────────────────────── ✨ NATIVE, MINIMALIST INTEGRATION ────────────────────────────── Sidefold doesn't fight YouTube — it blends in. The sidebar, panel and filter bar are designed to feel like they were always part of YouTube. No flashy overlays, no extra noise, no learning curve. It just works the way you'd expect. ────────────────────────────── 🗂 FOLDER SIDEBAR ────────────────────────────── A clean accordion sidebar lives inside YouTube's navigation rail. Create folders with custom names and colors, expand or collapse them with one click, and jump directly to any channel. ────────────────────────────── ⚡ BULK ORGANIZER ────────────────────────────── Open the organizer panel to see all your subscribed channels at once — in grid or list view. Select multiple channels and assign them to a folder in one action. Organizing 200 subscriptions takes minutes, not hours. ────────────────────────────── 📌 ASSIGN FROM ANY CHANNEL PAGE ────────────────────────────── Visiting a channel? A small "Add to folder" button appears on the page so you can categorize it on the spot — no panels, no detours. ────────────────────────────── 🌙 DARK MODE ────────────────────────────── Sidefold reads YouTube's theme automatically. Light and dark mode supported out of the box. ────────────────────────────── 🔄 SYNC ACROSS DEVICES ────────────────────────────── Sign in with Google from the extension popup and your folders sync automatically across all your devices. Works offline by default — sync happens in the background when you're connected. No sync, no problem: Sidefold works fully without an account. ────────────────────────────── 🌍 7 LANGUAGES ────────────────────────────── English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (Simplified). ────────────────────────────── 🔒 PRIVACY FIRST ────────────────────────────── Sidefold collects zero personal data by default. Your folders live in local storage — on your device, never leaving it unless you opt in to cloud sync. If you enable sync, only your Google email and your folder data are stored on our server. That data is never sold, never shared, never used for anything other than syncing your preferences across your own devices. Permissions used: • storage — to save your folders and channel assignments locally • identity — to sign you in with Google for optional cross-device sync • youtube.com — to inject the sidebar, panel and feed filter into YouTube • supabase.co — to sync your folders to the cloud when signed in (optional) ────────────────────────────── Simple. Native. Fast. Take back your YouTube subscriptions. YouTube™ is a trademark of Google LLC. Sidefold is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.
