Collect screenshots, organize your tasks, and keep a record of finished work. ShotInbox is a Chrome extension that connects screenshots you add with notes and tasks. Add images in the side panel, then use the full view to manage references, schedules, and completion records in one place. ⭐ Key features 🔹 Add screenshots in seconds 1. Copy an image and paste it into the side panel with Ctrl+V. You can also choose or drag in PNG, JPEG, and WebP files. 2. Save an image to your Inbox as a reference, or add it directly to Tasks when you already know what needs doing. 🔹 Find the context when you need it 3. Add a title, notes, tags, and a reference URL to each card so you remember why you saved it and what to do next. 4. Search titles, notes, and tags, then narrow results by status and date. Inspect images, download originals, and manage discarded cards in Trash. 🔹 Plan with Kanban and Gantt 5. Drag Kanban cards between To do, In progress, and Done, or change their status from the menu. 6. Drag across the Gantt date area to set start and due dates, or drag a bar to move its whole schedule. View one or two months at a time, scroll at the edges, or enter dates directly. Press Escape to cancel a drag. Clicking a bar asks for confirmation before resetting its dates. 🔹 Turn finished work into a Job card 7. Group completed Tasks into a Job with a title, reflection, and cover image, then export a commemorative card as a PNG. 8. Choose from eight preset colors or enter a HEX code with a live preview. Edit the title, reflection, and color, or add and remove completed Tasks. A Job keeps its saved Task records and cover even if you later edit or delete the source Tasks. 🔹 See your progress over time 9. Earn achievements for your first completion, completion milestones, your first generated backup, and Kanban and Gantt drag actions. Hidden achievements reveal their details when earned. 10. Review lifetime, this-month, and last-seven-day completion totals, a 12-week activity calendar, and monthly and tag statistics. Completing the same Task again or importing the same backup repeatedly does not inflate your completion count. Achievement notifications and celebration effects respect your system's reduced motion setting. 🔹 Back up and make it your own 11. Export a full ZIP backup with cards, images, completion and achievement history, and Jobs. You can also back up cards from a date range or a selection. 12. Choose English or Korean and your display time zone in Settings. The initial language and time zone follow your Chrome environment. ⭐ Free features and the Job preview Local card storage, notes, tags, search, task management, backup, and basic achievements and statistics are free with no card count limit. Image and backup safety limits and your device's storage capacity still apply. Job creation and editing are planned for Pro and are currently available as a free early access preview. You can keep up to 3 Jobs in this Chrome profile. Delete an existing Job to free a slot for a new one. If you already have more than 3 saved Jobs, they are preserved and can still be viewed, edited, exported as PNGs, and deleted. No preview end date, Pro price, or paid transition schedule has been set. Pro purchasing and license activation are not available yet, and early access does not grant a permanent Pro license. We will announce the launch terms and transition process in advance. You can continue to view, export, and delete existing Jobs if your access changes in the future. ⭐ Choose which Jobs to restore If the Jobs in a backup exceed the current storage limit, choose which to restore within your available slots. A Job with the same identity as one already saved needs no extra slot. All cards, Tasks, images, completion records, and achievement history included in the backup are restored regardless of your Job choices. Cards and Tasks have no count limit. Source Tasks linked to selected Jobs are restored too. If a source Task was already deleted and is absent from the backup, the Job's saved Task record and cover are restored. ⭐ Ways to use ShotInbox • Turn screenshots of requested changes into tasks with clear notes. • Collect design references with tags and find them when you need them. • Save study material and items to review, then track your progress. • Plan a project in Gantt and group completed work into a Job for reflection. ⭐ Get started 1. Click the extension icon to open the Chrome side panel. 2. Copy an image with your capture tool and press Ctrl+V, or add an image file. 3. Add notes and tags. When a card needs action, select Turn into task. 4. Open the full view to manage work with Kanban and Gantt, then create a Job card from completed Tasks. ⭐ What's new in 0.2.1 • The free early access preview allows up to 3 currently saved Jobs. Deleting a Job frees a slot for a new one. • Choose Jobs when restoring a backup that exceeds the limit. All backed-up cards, Tasks, images, and completion and achievement history are restored. ⭐ Local storage and privacy Use ShotInbox without an account or sign-in. Images, notes, tasks, and activity records are stored in IndexedDB in your current Chrome profile. ShotInbox does not automatically send them to a developer server or third party, collect usage analytics, or sync them across devices. Images are handled only when you paste or add them yourself. ShotInbox does not capture your screen automatically or monitor the clipboard. Backup ZIP files are not encrypted. Keep them somewhere safe and download a backup before removing the extension or Chrome profile. Requires desktop Chrome 116 or later. The interface supports English and Korean.
