About Shorts Exterminator: YouTube Shorts Blocker

Tired of losing hours to the endless scroll of bite-sized, AI-generated distractions? Shorts Exterminator is designed for the intentional viewer who wants to get back to the heart of what makes YouTube great: deep-dive tutorials, thought-provoking video essays, and high-quality storytelling. By instantly hiding YouTube Shorts across your Home, Channels, Navigation bar, and Search feeds, this extension forces a shift in how you consume content. Instead of "doomscrolling" through a chaotic mix of low-effort clips, you’ll find yourself naturally gravitating toward the long-form videos that truly spark your creativity and inspiration. What's New (Version 1.2.0) - Refined Codebase: Refactored the backend to be more modular. - Performance fix: fixed issue with shorts appearing in search feed. - Maintenance: Expect regular patches as I use it daily to keep up with YouTube's layout changes.
