ShopGrade reads the public page and never writes to the store. WHAT IS IN A REPORT - An overall storefront score and grade, with a plain-language verdict. - Six directional health scores covering speed, findability, trust, mobile, conversion and technical foundation. - Ten crawl and SEO checks read from the live page and robots.txt, each with the measured value, the target and what to change. - Conversion and trust signals: what a first-time shopper can see before entering card details. - A prioritised action roadmap: what to fix first, the evidence behind it, and the next concrete step. - A score trend, and a rescan comparison that lists what was resolved and what is new since the previous scan. - The shopper timeline, page weight, detected apps and pixels, and the slowest scripts. - A technical appendix with the raw scanner findings for whoever does the work. PRIVACY, AND WHAT SHOPGRADE READS ShopGrade runs on HTTPS pages so it can recognise Shopify stores on custom domains. It stays completely dormant until you consent. On a confirmed public Shopify storefront it reads the page URL, visible public text and DOM metadata, resource timing and performance signals to build the audit. It never reads what you type into the pages you visit, including passwords entered on those pages, and it never reads private messages or network request and response bodies. The only password ShopGrade receives is the one you type into its own sign-in form to authenticate; our authentication provider stores it as a salted hash and ShopGrade keeps no plain-text copy. Live grading runs in your browser. When you generate a shareable report, the store URL, the audit data and your report settings are sent to ShopGrade's servers to run Google PageSpeed and host the report. That applies on every plan, including Free. AI analysis is optional and runs only after a separate confirmation. ShopGrade never captures the screen from your browser session. The audited store's public homepage, and one product page when found, are rendered server-side by Google PageSpeed without your browser cookies. Those screenshots plus the store URL, measured audit metrics, industry and any monthly revenue you have entered are sent to OpenAI. Because the render happens on the server, it can never reach an authenticated session in your normal browser profile. ACCOUNT, PLANS AND LIMITS An account is required. Free includes one report generation, kept to the account that made it: it is watermarked, cannot be shared, emailed or exported, and shows several chapters as locked. Paid plans and pay-as-you-go report credits unlock further generations and features. Prices and your current entitlements are always shown before checkout. Live scores on the toolbar are unlimited on every plan. Generated reports expire automatically 15 days after they are created, and you can delete one immediately from your account. WHAT SHOPGRADE DOES NOT CLAIM Scores, AI suggestions and accessibility indicators are directional. They are not guarantees, legal certification, or legal advice, and they do not promise a conversion or revenue outcome. Results vary by device, network, page state and data availability. Chrome UX field data is only reported when Google has coverage for that store. ShopGrade checks pages for Shopify markers and works on the storefronts it can confirm; it never asks for store credentials or admin access, because it never needs them.
